White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Wednesday slammed Fox News for its chyron labeling President Joe Biden a ‘wannabe dictator.’

‘There are probably about 787 million things I can say about this that is wrong but I’m not going to get into it,’ she said at her daily press briefing referring to the $787 million the news network paid Dominion Voting after the company sued it for defamation.

Asked again if she wanted to comment, Jean-Pierre responded: ‘I just did.’

Fox News was showing a split screen on Tuesday night – of Donald Trump speaking to supporters at his Bedminister golf club following his not guilty plea to 37 charges tied to his possession of classified documents and of Biden speaking to supporters at a Juneteeneth concert on the South Lawn at the White House.

The chyron the network showed read: ‘Wannabe dictator speaks at the White House after having his political rival arrested.

The chyron calling Biden a ‘wannabe dictator,’ which was live on Fox News for 30 seconds, caused outrage on social media.

One person said: ‘Why would a large network news channel like Fox let some disgruntled conspiracy theorist in the back control the chyron.’

Another person, sharing an image of the broadcast, mocked the news outlet with the caption: ‘Fair and Balanced News.’

A third stated: ‘I expect Fox to go lower than low but talk about fanning the flames.’

Others made light of the situation, writing: ‘Fox took off the gloves.’

Another contended: ‘Oh, dear. Seems Fox forgot how much they lost in the Dominion case.’

A Fox News spokesperson said: ‘The chyron was taken down immediately and was addressed.’

The chyron came in the middle of Trump’s defiant speech from his New Jersey golf club hours after pleading not guilty to federal charges – calling it ‘a political persecution like something out of a fascist or communist nation.

‘I did everything right and they indicted me,’ he complained while surrounded by supporters back on his home turf after his day dealing with the criminal justice system.

Trump delivered meandering remarks where he inveighed against disgraced former Rep. Anthony Weiner and former FBI Director James Comey – then ran through classified documents clashes of the Bill Clinton administration.

Trump began his remarks by going after Joe Biden, but soon went down memory lane talking about Hillary Clinton and former Vice President Dick Cheney.

‘Today we witnessed the most evil and heinous abuse of power in the history of our country,’ Trump told a crowd at his Bedminster club Wednesday night.

He claimed Biden would go down in history as ‘the president who together with a band of his closest thugs, misfits and Marxist tried to destroy American democracy.’

He pointed to the use of the 1917 Espionage Act to go after him for alleged violations of willful possession of national security information, after the indictment said he had nuclear information and claimed to have Pentagon attack plans at Mar-a-Lago and the Bedminster club where he was speaking.

Trump termed it ‘one of the most outrageous and vicious legal theories ever put forward in an American court of law.’
