Rapper Sexyy Red has sent her condolences after a fatal shooting that happened as she was filming a music video in Florida.
The BET-nominated rapper, 25, was filming with fellow artist Sukihana at Oakland Park Flea Market in Florida on Thursday night when nearby gunshots were heard.
Florida cops swarmed the area after the shots were fired, and found two victims – one at a gas station and another at the Flea Market. One of the victims passed away according to local media.
Fans who were at the video shoot described running for cover amid chaotic scenes.
A bodybag was spotted at the scene of the incident. Cops spent hours investigating the scene of the shooting.

Local news outlet WPLG reported that deputies from Broward County Sheriff’s Office took two people into custody, though authorities have not yet provided any official comments on the incident yet.
Sexyy Red, whose real name is Janae Nierah Wherry said on her Instagram Story: ‘I send my condolences to the family of the man who lost his life and prayers up for the person who was wounded.
‘But I gotta address the rumors that it happened at my video shoot [because] s*** it not true at all.
‘To be clear it happened at a gas station across the street from my video set.
‘Florida Highway Patrol and Broward County Sheriff confirmed that the shooting wasn’t on my set.
‘Thanks to my production team [for] getting all the paperwork right and working with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to hire off-duty’s [sic] to make sure everyone was safe.
‘We finished the shoot at a different location and everyone from our set went home safely. Period.
‘I’m just trying to work hard, make good music, connect with my fans. Please don’t try to twist narratives and put this on a b****.’
Wherry previously posted a video of Florida police officers escorting her car shortly after the shooting, writing in the caption: ‘I got all police escorts they going crazy’
She was reportedly filming the music video for her upcoming song ‘Shake Ya Dreadz’ at the time with Sukihana, whose real name is Destiny Lanette Henderson.
Wherry was seen dancing and performing in front of a crowd at the flea market in videos posted to social media.
She also shared a clip to her Instagram Story of dozens of fans with their cars crowding the area near the flea market.
Wherry rose to fame earlier this year after she released her hit song ‘Pound Town.’
She managed to rise to even higher heights after she released a remix of the song that featured Nicki Minaj.
Wherry and fellow rapper Drake stoked rumours that they were dating earlier this year.
Drake, 36, previously set tongues wagging that he was dating the American rapper, 25, when he planted a kiss on her cheek in a sweet snap in July.
The rumoured couple have now sparked speculation again by posing for more cosy snaps on is It’s A Blur tour stop in Inglewood, Los Angeles.
Sexyy Red referred to Drake as ‘her man’ in the caption of the images, sending her fans into overdrive in the comments section.
In the snap, Sexyy Red – whose real name is Janae Nierah Wherry – showcased her peachy bottom in a pair of tight-fitting hotpants.
