Simon, who is the star of zombie classic Shaun Of The Dead, looked very spooky as he opted for green face paint and coloured his teeth brown for his zombie costume.

He kept it casual in black jeans and a red checkered shirt, which he teamed with a black denim jacket and boots.

The Mission Impossible star sported a pair of headphones, wore a collar and carried a fake gun as he perfected the look of Bub, played by Sherman Howard.

Day Of The Dead sees the world overrun by zombies with a group of scientists in an underground bunker in Florida deciding what they should do amid the apocalypse. Bub is a zombie who is domesticated by Dr Matthew Logan (Matt Rippy).

At the party, Simon was joined by his wife Maureen, who resembled Batman’s Poison Ivy in a green dress and a blue cape, both covered with leaves.

She completed her look with fishnet tights and green stilettos and opted for a palette of smokey-eye green make-up.

The couple posed with their daughter Matilda, who dressed up as Tracy (Gwyneth Paltrow) in the 1996 serial killer film Se7en.

She put on a bloody display and wore a cut-out cardboard box on her head as he dressed as the character in the moment of her shocking death.

Se7en ends with the devastating reveal that John Doe’s pregnant wife was decapitated, with Matilda copying this infamous horror movie moment.

Simon has been married to wife Maureen McCann since 2005 and they welcomed daughter Matilda in 2009.

The family joined the star-studded guest list at Jonathan Ross’ annual Halloween party, which was finally revived after two years of Covid-19 cancellations.

The likes of Rita Ora, Oti Mabuse and Ashley James arrived at his sprawling family home in Hampstead, north London, for the epic extravaganza.

The star then admitted he himself was once a ‘toxic’ Star Wars fan as he spoke against Jar Jar Binks actor Ahmed Best when Star Wars: The Phantom Menace opened in theaters.

He said: ‘I’ve apologised for the things I said about, you know, Jar Jar Binks because, of course, there was a f***ing actor involved.

‘He was getting a lot of flack and… it was a human being. And because it got a lot of hate, he suffered, you know, and I feel terrible about being part of that.’
