Texas A&M defensive lineman Shemar Turner lost his head during a contest against Ole Miss on Saturday.
He was seen on replays throwing a wild uppercut into the groin of his Ole Miss counterpart – offensive lineman Micah Pettus.
Replays showed that Turner was winding up to throw another punch, but it did not show if he connected with his intended target.
Announcers said that Pettus had been blocking well throughout the day – which may have led to Turner’s frustration boiling over.
Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin was seen motioning to the referees to eject Turner for his outburst.

Eventually, officials flagged Turner for a flagrant personal foul and ejected him from the rest of the contest.
That outburst ended up backfiring for the Aggies – who lost to the tenth-ranked Ole Miss Rebels 38-35.
The immediate play after the ejection, Ole Miss RB Quinshon Judkins rushed for a touchdown to extend the team’s lead further.
Texas A&M will look to rebound next week, when they host Mississippi State.
