This is the moment an impatient motorist tried to speed off the exit ramp on a ferry – and plunged into the sea.
The incident happened in city of Kerch located in the disputed Crimean peninsula of southern Ukraine which has been annexed by Russia.
The video was recorded on CCTV and shows the Protoporos IV ferry arriving to dock in the city of Kerch.
Cars are seen lined up on the lower deck of the ferry, and suddenly one of the drivers in a black Lada starts to drive up the exit ramp before the ferry has reached the dock.
The impatient driver had apparently been hoping to avoid getting stuck in a long queue, and wanted to be at the front and therefore the first out.
But he did not take into account that the ferry was still not near enough and he plunged into the waters of the Black Sea.
The driver was reportedly unhurt and managed to escape his car.

Bystanders helped him get back on land by throwing him a safety ring and pulling him to shore.
The move also meant lengthy delays as the car needed to be moved before the ferry could finish docking.
The process reportedly took several hours.
Earlier this month video emerged of the moment a fishermen was left helplessly watching his car plunge into a marina when he forgot to apply the handbrake.
The clip, filmed in Australia, shows a man in a blue jacket pulling into a marina and parking his white car behind a wall, before exiting his car and casually strolling down the jetty to meet his friends.
However, as if in slow motion, ever so gradually the car begins to roll backwards heading straight for the water.
