These mouthwatering, juicy steaks are ideal for the barbecue season. Throw these on the barby and enjoy.

Servings: 2

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Level of Difficulty: Easy

300g Beef fillet steak, lean, raw, 2 x 150g fillets

5 spray(s) Calorie controlled cooking spray

50g Spinach, baby

50g Spinach, baby

1 teaspoonsChilli, Green or Red, finely chopped, optional

30g Feta Cheese, crumbled2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar

1⁄8 teaspoonsBlack pepper

Step 1

Heat a char-grill pan or heavy-based frying pan. Spray both sides of the steaks with calorie controlled cooking spray. (When char-grilling, always spray the food, not the pan). Place them in the pan and cook over a medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the steaks and how you like them cooked. Test with a sharp knife, and cook for a little longer if preferred.

Step 2

Meanwhile, mix the spinach, tomatoes and chilli (if using) together. Serve the steaks, topped with the spinach mixture. Sprinkle the feta cheese and balsamic vinegar on top and season with black pepper.
