Wooden furniture

Polish your wooden furniture with baby oil using a damp cloth and a few small drops of this paraben-free product.

Simply buff the wooden surface to restore dull-looking hues of mahogany, oak and cedar around your home.

Use sparingly to avoid excess moisture or a slippery finish.

Rub dry with a towel and repeat as often as necessary.

Polish leather

Whether your prized possession is a leather armchair or your favourite shoes are made of hard-wearing leather, keeping them shining is easily done with this affordable oil which costs just £1.

Pour a little oil onto a clean microfiber cloth and buff the leather surface in circular motions.

Work on small areas at a time to get a full, streak-free shine.

Use a dry towel to rub down any excess moisture and leave for a while.

Banish stickiness

Tackle chewing gum and sticker stains clinging to tables, sofas or even shoes.

Rub a little of the baby oil around the perimeter of the gum or sticker to loosen it and gently work off of the surface with blunt crockery like a plastic knife.

You can even try removing stickiness from hair, clothing or labelled products using baby oil and a cloth.

Prevent soap scum

You can utilise this baby product throughout your bathroom with chrome fittings, stainless steel, shower screens and even shower heads coming up gleaming after a splash of baby oil.

Using it as a preventative measure for soap scum will keep your shower head and walls free from this chalky residue.
Rub a thin layer of baby oil over your shower fittings and tiles to keep it cleaner for longer.
