A huge police operation is underway near one of Australia’s busiest nightlife strips after a man was shot.
Officers and paramedics have swarmed Chisholm Street in Darlinghurst, just a few hundred meters from the pubs, clubs, cafes and restaurants of Sydney‘s Oxford Street.
Residents reported hearing gunfire moments before emergency vehicles descended on the scene.
