Kate Garraway cut a stylish figure on Thursday as she arrived to present her show at the Global Radio studios in London.

The television personality, 55, braved the summer rain in a colourful stripped dress which hugged her fantastic figure.

Slipping into comfy trainers, Kate opted for a natural make-up look as her blonde tresses fell in a natural wave.

Struggling with a straw bag, a leather messenger as well as a suitcase Kate beamed as she made her way through the downpour.

Earlier in the day Kate wore the same stylish ensemble to Good Morning Britain alongside Adil Ray, 48.

It comes after the TV favourite shared an emotional moment with her close friend Robert Rinder on Tuesday’s show.

The friends were presenting together for the first time together, with Robert keen to take a moment to praise Kate for her National Television Awards nomination.

The presenter’s second documentary about her husband Derek Draper’s ongoing recovery from Covid, Caring For Derek, has been shortlisted for an award a year on from the NTA win for her first documentary.

Robert interrupted the proceedings to sing Kate’s praises, after she remarked that it was ‘so exciting’ to work with her friend for the first time.

‘You know what, it is!’ Robert agreed. ‘First of all, you are sunshine in human form, and to be alongside a friend.’

‘We don’t really talk about it that much. I just want to say more than anything else, you are a model of the possibility against a backdrop of darkness of being light in every sense,’ Rob continued to gush.

‘I also want to say, I’m gonna use language my grandmother would use, I am kvelling, I am so proud of you today.’

‘Your amazing documentary Caring For Derek is being shortlisted for a National Television Award, and to use the platform you have for change, for authenticity just makes me proud to know you.’

As his voice broke, an emotional Rob promised: ‘I’m not gonna cry but I am just very proud.’ A clearly moved Kate told him: ‘That’s so lovely! I’m gonna cry myself!’

Kate’s husband Derek has required round-the-clock care since he contracted coronavirus in March 2020.

The presenter recently took a leave of absence from GMB after her husband’s health took a downturn when he contracted sepsis.

He is now at risk of losing one of his kidneys, although he has been moved out of intensive care and is now in the hospital’s high-dependency unit.
