The Jackass star, 44, who has endured a public battle with addiction and was placed on a 72 hour psychiatric hold, referred to as a 5150 hold in California earlier this year, visited First Hand Tattoo in Pennsylvania this week to get the inking.

In the video, Bam said he’s ‘been through the ringer with the longest Florida shuffle, which means if the interventionist knows you have insurance money they’ll find reasons to keep you there forever – so Britney Spears … I’m on your level.’

Spears has also publicly battled mental illness and undergone treatment in rehab facilities – with Margera’s neck tattoo reading: ‘Britney Spears, oops they did it to me too’ followed by a smiley face.

Last week the star shared a snap with girlfriend Dannii Marie and marked one month of sobriety.

Marie gave Bam an ultimatum for him to choose either her or alcohol, and they’ve been working out daily while living on a farm outside Philadelphia, according to TMZ.

Last month the star was arrested and issued a pair of citations early Wednesday following a row with a woman outside of a Philadelphia-area hotel, police told TMZ

Authorities at around 4:30 a.m. cited the embattled reality star with public intoxication and disorderly conduct after witnessing him yelling at a woman outside of the Radnor Hotel in Radnor Township, Pennsylvania, according to the outlet.

Law enforcement said that patrolling officers who confronted the West Chester, Pennsylvania detected the odor of alcohol and noticed his speech was slurred.

Margera was then arrested and taken to a nearby police station where he was issued the pair of citations. After calling a friend, he was released from custody with no further incident, the outlet reported.

The hotel’s general manager Louis Prevost told NBC10 Philadelphia that Margera sought to get a room at the establishment at around 3:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Margera was rankled when informed that he was not allowed on the premises due to a standing policy that prohibits people who aren’t registered there from entering, according to Prevost.

Margera did not make a scene after being told the news, and initially departed without incident, Prevost said, adding that there no was no record of anyone from the establishment contacting the authorities.

Margera’s latest arrest comes about two weeks after he appeared in court July 27 over an April altercation with his brother Jess Margera, who accused him of hitting him multiple times.

In the court hearing at the Chester County Justice Center in his native West Chester, Pennsylvania, Margera – who was accompanied by his legal team and fitness model Dannii Marie – entered a not guilty plea to charges including simple assault and making terroristic threats.

As conditional to his bail in the case, he was ordered by the presiding judge to refrain from consuming drugs or alcohol, and undergo screenings to verify such.

It was not immediately clear how Wednesday’s events could impact the ongoing legal proceedings, as officials with the Chester County District Attorney’s Office told NBC10 they had had no comment on the incident.

It’s been a challenging summer for Margera, who has also had frayed relations with his estranged wife Nicole Boyd, 39, over their son Phoenix, five.

Margera told TMZ last month outside of court in downtown Los Angeles that Boyd had continued to obstruct him from having contact with Phoenix, aside from a few FaceTime calls.

Boyd told the outlet that his behavior had been ‘extremely scary,’ and that he needed to change his ways before visits with their son would resume.

The last time Margera had in-person contact with his child was on March 29 during an in-person visit in California

That interaction did not go well, as Margera was seen in a clip on the site arguing with Boyd inside a Burbank, California restaurant over time spent with the child. The Jackass alum was seen arguing with Boyd in the clip, telling her, ‘Phoenix has his own mind. Let him have his own mind!’

He was subsequently arrested in connection with public intoxication in the wake of the incident.

Margera in June was released from a psychiatric hospital after he was taken in on a 5150 psychiatric hold, and went directly into a rehab center to detox at one of the Odom Wellness Treatment Centers ran by NBA alum Lamar Odom, sources told TMZ. He ultimately left the facility in June.

Margera on June 4 was located by authorities at a Trejo’s Tacos location in Los Angeles and taken in for a 5150 psychiatric hold after he took to social media threatening to end his life if he could not reunite with his son.

Margera had taken to social media May 30 in a clip he later deleted, claiming he would ‘smoke crack’ until he died unless he was able to see his son, saying, ‘I haven’t seen Phoenix in two f***ing months – I have to wake up every day, knowing that I probably won’t get to talk to him or see him.’

In the clip, Margera was critical of Boyd for not letting him speak to their son, as well as his parents April and Phil Margera, saying they spurred him to drink.

‘I’m going to smoke crack with the bums down at the f***ing boardwalk until I’m dead unless you deliver me f***ing Phoenix,’ he said in the clip. ‘Get to work Nikki, or anyone that wants to help. I want Phoenix.’

Boyd and Margera split up in 2021, and in September of that year, Boyd went to court to request full custody of their son.

Boyd filed in Los Angeles to legally separate from Margera this past February, saying the cause was irreconcilable differences, and requested the court award her spousal support, as well as legal and physical custody of their child.
