A TikTok star and businessman has been kidnapped, stabbed and held for 24 hours before being dumped by the side of the road. 

Jacob Najjar, 36, was dragged from his unit on Grazier Street in the western Sydney suburb of Auburn at around midnight on Saturday and forced into a car. 

He was then taken to an unknown address where it’s believed he was beaten and stabbed.

Shocked locals found him suffering from facial injuries and stab wounds lying in the street on Lower Washington Drive in Bonnet Bay almost 24 hours later on Sunday night, 30km from where he was kidnapped. 

Mr Najjar was once pictured with senior members of the Alameddine gang associates.

He also owns the Thirsty Monkey cafe chain, which has stores in Parramatta, Wentworth Point and Marrickville.

The locals who found him called Triple-0.

Mr Najjar was treated by paramedics and taken to Sutherland Hospital in a stable condition. 

The motive behind the kidnapping is not known.

Daily Mail Australia does not suggest any wrongdoing by Mr Najjar. 

He told police he was knocked unconscious and can’t remember how the assault happened or a describe his captors, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Robbery and Serious Crime Squad have established Strike Force Rowallan to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

No arrests or charges have yet been laid.

The motive behind the kidnapping remains unknown.
