Zachary captioned the clip, which has so far amassed over 84,000 views, ‘Together we can make the world a better place.’

While waiting for his bag, he said: ‘Here is a wee bit of airport etiquette.

‘If you happen to find yourself at baggage claim, unless you see your bag there’s absolutely no reason to stand so close to the carousel,’ he said.

Zachary then noted that you should take around ‘five to ten feet’ back.

‘Take five to ten feet, give everyone a bit of space to get their bag.

‘It really doesn’t need to be a mosh pit,’ he said at the end of the clip.

Other people on the video-sharing platform were quick to praise him for relaying the message.

One person said: ‘Say it louder for the people in the front.’

‘Thank you! I hate that so much,’ said another user.

Another person added: ‘Exactly.’

According to etiquette expert Diane Gottsman, who published a guide to waiting at the baggage carousel, you should always stand away from the belt, steer clear of the main opening, and keep an eye on your kids.
