Horford Face Injury – How Did It Happen?  Al Horford is a well-known professional basketball player from the Dominican Republic. People are curious about his background, but now the entire world is looking for Al Horford Wiki, because he suffered facial injuries during a basketball game.

Horford is a five-time NBA All-Star and the highest-paid Latin American basketball player.

In 2006 and 2007, he was the starting center for the Florida Gators’ back-to-back National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) national championship teams.

Horford Face Injury – How Did It Happen?

The Boston Celtics’ Al Horford has revealed some shocking injury news ahead of Game 1 of their Eastern Conference finals series against the Miami Heat, which begins on Tuesday evening.

The Celtics announced that not only point guard Marcus Smart, who suffered a foot injury in Game 7 of the team’s series against the Milwaukee Bucks but also Al Horford, who is now in the NBA’s health and safety protocols, will miss the first game of the series.

Al Horford may have just played the most important game of his career, leading the Boston Celtics to a thrilling victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on the road. With a masterpiece, “Big Al” turned back the clock, allowing the Celtics to tie the series and reclaim the home-court advantage.

He was a starting center for the Florida Gators in collegiate basketball, where he helped them win back-to-back National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) national championships in 2006 and 2007.

Al Horford’s Injury Update

Al Horford’s stay in the NBA’s health and safety standards came to an end on Thursday, just hours before Game 2 of the series against the Miami Heat was set to begin.

Marcus Smart, the Celtics’ Defensive Player of the Year, saw his mid-foot sprain recover enough for him to return to the lineup. Horford could not play in Game 1 due to the coronavirus procedures, and Smart could not play in Game 1 due to a foot issue.

On the other hand, Smart went through a shootaround practice on Thursday morning and was cleared to play after no setbacks. Horford’s issue was never made public, but considering that he was in the procedures and required more testing, his absence Tuesday was almost definitely due to a test result.

Horford would have been required to return two negative PCR samples sampled at least 24 hours apart to escape the protocols as swiftly as he did if he did test positive and the Celtics, under team policy, never said that was the case.

What Is Al Horford’s Health Condition Now?

Wojnarowski went on to say that the Celtics have been testing Al Horford in the hopes of him bypassing health and safety procedures. He is in the process of recovery.

Horford was born in the Dominican Republic’s Puerto Plata. Tito Horford, his father, played for three years in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and several more in other nations.

Horford and his family relocated to Lansing, Michigan, in 2000, where he was a standout basketball player at Grand Ledge High School. Horford holds seven school records, including the most career points (1,239).

He was named Class A Player of the Year as a senior after averaging 21 points, 13 rebounds, and five blocks per game. While at Grand Ledge, Horford played AAU basketball for the Michigan Mustangs, who finished second in the Adidas Big Time National Tournament.
