Volodymyr Zelenskyy Net Worth - How Rich Is Ukraine President In 2022 After Russia Attack?

The war has begun as a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine’s capital today. The world condemns Russia’s actor because war is never a solution and peace is the only way to achieve stability.

When everyone around the world stands up to Putin’s actions, it will not only result in bloodshed in Ukraine, but also in a humanitarian disaster all over the world. Furthermore, it will have an impact on the global economy, and the effects are already being felt.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy Net Worth – How Rich Is Ukraine President In 2022 After Russia Attack?

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has a net worth of approximately $1.5 million in 2022, according to This Nation. He is a politician, actor, and comedian from Ukraine. He has been Ukraine’s president since May 2019.

However, if one looks into his past, it is difficult to believe that he ever intended to enter politics or run for president.

He earned a law degree after graduating from the Kryvyi Rih Institute of Economics. However, he did not pursue a career in that field.

Incredible speech of @ZelenskyyUa ?✊
May the reason and wisdom of Russian people be the hope to the madness of the man tragically leading them

Rather, at the age of 17, he joined the local KVN (comedy competition) team and was quickly invited to join the unified Ukrainian club “Zaporizhia-Kryvyi Rih-Transit,” which competed in the KVN’s Major League and eventually won in 1997.

In the same year, he founded and led the Kvartal 95 crew, which evolved into the comedy group Kvartal 95. The team members spent a lot of time in Moscow and traveled to post-Soviet countries on a regular basis.

Kvartal 95 then began producing TV shows for Ukrainian TV station 1+1 in 2003, and in 2005, the crew relocated to Inter, another Ukrainian TV channel.

He began appearing in films after 2008. He appeared in several films, including Love in the Big City and Office Romance. Rzhevsky vs. Napoleon, Our Time Eight First Dates, Love in Vegas, Eight New Dates, and I, You, He, and She.

He also appeared on some television series such as Dancing with the stars (Ukraine), Svaty, and Servant of the people. He had earned a tremendous amount of name and fame in the entertainment industry when he suddenly decided to join politics in 2019.

Kvartal 95 members founded a political party named Servant of the People in March 2018 by members and produced the same-named television series.

According to Wikipedia, in a March 2019 interview with Der Spiegel, Zelenskyy stated that he entered politics “to restore public trust in politicians. He added that he wanted “to bring professional, decent people to power” and that he “would like to change the mood and timbre of the political establishment, as much as possible.”

And, within a year of joining politics, he stood up for presidential candidacy and won the election. However, he had promised that he would take office for only one term, i.e., five years.

Currently, it was his third year in office, and the war has taken place despite his efforts and sanctions of Russia from many western countries.

Did Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy Address Economic Toll After Russia Attack?

Ukraine President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has addressed the economic toll after the Russian attack. However, the fear of the Russian invasion has been crushing the country’s economy for some time now.

The embassies and international companies began to close. Several insurance companies refused to cover planes coming in Ukraine, resulting in several flights getting canceled. It has resulted in getting hundreds of millions of dollars getting dried up.

As the Russian forces circled parts of Ukraine, the big and small businesses could not plan for the future as they did not know what would happen as the days passed by.

This is the cost of war ?

Likewise, Ukraine is a major grain exporter, filling container ships with 12 percent of the world’s wheat and 16 percent of the world’s corn. However, as insurance companies have refused to cover any risks involved in shipping, the export has stopped.

The impact was seen months before Russia invaded the country. Then, the fear of the invasion had impacted the country’s economy. As a result, the investors refused the plans for setting up hydrogen plants for the national Naftogaz energy company.

It had the motive to supply the stable new source of hydrogen, which can be used to produce low-emission energy for transport, industry, and other uses to Europe and the largest economy like Germany.

The investors are able to buy everything they can produce but decline to invest in the project, fearing the war risks in the country. The conflict had already cost Ukraine $280 billion, and with the war, it would gross higher.

According to AP News, one of the restaurant owners said that he had stopped keeping stocks in his kitchens because he did not know when will the condition worsen. Before the war broke out, he had said that if he had to cook for the army, he would cook for the army.

It is saddening and disheartening how the country and its people will suffer. The loss of lives and financial instability will plague the country and its citizens.
