Jannat was given to the baby. Shahzaib was dissatisfied because he desired a male child of his own.
On Sunday, he stormed into his house, snatched his wife’s baby from her arms, and shot the infant with a handgun.
He also warned his family to stay away from him while he was carrying the weapon. Shahzaib fled the crime scene after the murder.
After arriving at DHQ Hospital, the seven-day-old baby girl was pronounced dead.
She was shot four times, according to the results of her autopsy.

A dad named Shahzaib Khan killed his seven-day-old baby girl in Pakistan’s Mainwali, Punjab province of Pakistan.
The killing is alleged as his desire for firstborn to be a male.
After firing multiple shots at the newborn, Shahzaib managed to flee.
Hidayatullah Khan, the girl’s maternal uncle, submitted an official police complaint against the father about the murder.
According to Independent reports, Mainwali police officer Hayatullah Khan revealed that the infant girl was shot five times and died instantaneously.
He went on to say that they are trying to apprehend the accused and have been arrested for the same.
According to Hayatullah Khan, Shahzaib was outraged when the baby girl was born, and he threatened the other family members who witnessed the murder.
