Who Shot Dead Shawn Gray Atlanta?
Shawn Gray was murdered in Atlanta in the early morning of January 17, 2021. He was shot dead just outside the hotel where he was staying while he went to Atlanta to celebrate his girlfriend’s birthday.
Before shooting the shot, Shawn was reportedly stalked by Jamaar for three days consecutively. He was then sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Shawn Gray.
On the early morning of the 17th of January 2021, an event occurred outside a motel in Cobb County, Georgia. Gray was tracked down by his Bracey and his accomplice, Ashley Davis to his hotel.
Following the rigorous tracking, the father of two was shot reportedly in the parking lot at 3:30 a.m. He couldn’t make it and succumbed to the injuries during the shot.
He was reportedly wounded by four of the six rounds fired, and Gray breathed his last on a rock slope outside the hotel. Sadly, he was killed on mistaken identity by Bracey.
Jamaar believed Gray was the one who murdered his nephew in a drive-by shooting in Chicago a couple of days ago on January 6, 2021, before he shot him to death.
Three days prior to the murder, Bracey had been following and stalking the father of two. He was looking for a chance to shoot him after he believed Gray had killed his nephew.
Where Is Jamar Bracey Killer Now?
Jamar Bracey was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of release reportedly plus five years for the calculated murder of Shawn Gray after a three-day manhunt on September 21, 2021.
Because the murderer was condemned to life in jail without the possibility of parole, so far Bracey has no set release date. In spite of the fact that Jamar killed the wrong person, the judges judged him guilty of murder.
Ashley Davis, the accomplice of Bracey, was also found guilty by the court like him. However, he reportedly pleaded guilty to felony murder for his role in the murder of Gray.
