Who Is John Jester? Meet The Customer Experience VP Of Google

John Jester is among top-level executives at Google. He is a graduate of George Mason University with an Electrical Engineering degree.

According to his LinkedIn, he has served the firm since May 2019. He has been leading Google’s professional services, enterprise support, customer success, and executive engagement globally for the last three years.

He had previously worked the Microsoft in multiple positions for more than 20 years. Jester had joined the company as a general manager in October 1999. He then served as the VP of Worldwide Specialist Sales from 2014 to 2017. Ultimately, he served as Microsoft’s Corporate VP of Worldwide Customer Success. He served in the position for more than two years.

 

Is John Jester Leaving Google?

Yes, John Jester is leaving google after three years. He will leave the firm alongside Google’s Cloud sales leader Rob Enslin.

As per a source, Google Cloud is using Enslin’s departure to streamline its sales and customer success organization. This will also result in the departure of Jester.

According to an email Kurian sent to Googlers, Enslin and Jester will leave Google Cloud effective Sunday, May 1, 2022. Furthermore, their role will not be refilled.

 

 

Kurian wrote in the email: “Over the last three years, Rob and John have led our go-to-market organization and helped us build a solid foundation for the future, and I want to thank them for everything they’ve done. I have personally learned a lot from working closely with them, I respect them both immensely, and I know we all wish them the very best in their next endeavors.”

It is unknown if Jester or Enslin will retire or join some other corporations. More details will be released in the coming days.

John Jester’s Current Salary With Google

John Jester’s salary with Google is estimated to be around $217,234 a year.

According to comparably.com, the Executive income at Google is estimated to be $214,413 per year, or $103 per hour, including base salary and bonus. Furthermore, the highest-paid executive earns $652,000 each year, while the lowest-paid executive earns $65,000.
