Kyle hosted the show before joining ITV, but it was never broadcast.
“As far as I’m concerned, he shattered my and my daughter’s lives,” Erica’s father, Eric Massey, said.
“When he meets someone he doesn’t know, he’s aggressive,” he added. That is not the way he should be. He’s a straight-up, in-your-face kind of guy.”
“I don’t blame the show,” his father continued, “it was all happening before she went on it.”

Her death was as a result of depression Which happened in October 2005.
Her husband, Paul Pawson, criticized producers for not acting on the incident.
He said, “Why didn’t they put a stop to the show when my wife died?” We were never offered to counsel.
Moreover, he went state, “We didn’t get anything.” “Because of what happened, my daughter had to see a specialized counselor.”
Erica Pawson had previously taken overdoses and suffered from depression.
Pawson claims that neither he nor his wife was subjected to mental health screenings before appearing on the show.
It was revealed that another person, Paul McCarthy, a former boxer, had committed suicide three months after appearing on Kyle’s ITV show in 2014.

According to the Guardian, Erica Pawson’s husband, Paul Pawson, will be 47 years old in 2022. He lived in the Lincolnshire town of Louth.
After filming wrapped on October 7, 2005, he moved out of the family’s home.
Erica Pawson died as a result of a prescription painkiller overdose.
The couple had previously appeared on Kilroy, a BBC daytime chat show, in an episode of Affairs in the Family.
According to Paul Pawson, the audience roared approval as Kyle pressured him to leave his wife during the broadcast.
“He told me to leave Erica,” he explained, “so I shook his hand and pledged to leave the family home,” which he did.
Pawson explained, “At the end of the day, he made my wife’s life a living hell.” She took her own life.”
Despite admitting to having an affair in the past, Pawson went on the show to claim he had been faithful since then.
