After scoring 12.5 points and 7.0 rebounds in the 2014 NBA Summer League, he signed his rookie scale deal with the Hawks on July 25.

He was declared out for the start of the regular season with plantar fasciitis in his left foot after managing five preseason games for the Hawks.
