Moreno’s parents have supported him in his decision to pursue a fighting career rather than a higher education.
There was one condition, however: Moreno had to work full-time at the family business to help pay for the training and make ends meet.
The schedule was jam-packed. Moreno would get up early, train for two hours, and then return home for five or six hours of pinata construction.
After supper, he’d go back to the gym for another two hours of training before spending the rest of the night at the warehouse finishing the pinatas.
