Chesa was paroled out of prison in 2003 and went on to work as an adjunct professor at Columbia University.
Whereas David is a far-left activist from the United States who took part in the tragic 1981 heist of a Brinks armored van.
David was a member of the Weather Underground and a founding member of the Students for a Democratic Society chapter at Columbia University.
Gilbert was the driver in the robbery and was found guilty of felony murder in the deaths of two Nyack police officers and a Brink’s security guard by co-defendants.

Boudin’s supporters praised the district attorney for sticking to his promises of eliminating cash bail, not prosecuting quality-of-life crimes, and putting fewer people behind bars.
Chesa faces a recall election on Tuesday, a little more than halfway through his first term, shaped by the pandemic and a perception among the city’s often scared, consistently dissatisfied people that his attitude to prosecution is too soft for the circumstances.
Boudin made his case in excellent Spanish. “They’re attacking me,” he told the store’s manager, Hipolito Barraza.
