Covid-19 Mistakes people make drags COVID not to over. The number of cases is rapidly increasing, hospitals are overburdened, and Omicron is rapidly spreading. “People must understand that this is a difficult time for us, and that the pandemic is far from over. Viruses thrive and spread during this season. Covid-19 Mistakes: 3 Main Errors To Avoid Now For Your Safety – Expert Says

1. Partying Or Participating In Large Gatherings

When speaking at a White House COVID-19 response team briefing earlier this week, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the President’s chief medical advisor and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, reminded us not to attend large gatherings right now. “It’s similar to what I said about the Christmas holiday, and it’s true here.” If you were in a situation with a family setting in your home, with family, parents, children, grandparents, and everyone is vaccinated and boosted—while the risk is never zero in anything, we believe the risk is low enough that you should continue with your plans of having a home-related vaccinated, boosted gathering with family and close friends who are also vaccinated and boosted.

2. Failure To Wear A Mask In The Midst Of People

According to Dr. Jagdish Khubchandani, MBBS, Ph.D., Professor of Public Health at New Mexico State University: “Masks continue to be an important tool in the fight against infection. We make three major mistakes: not wearing a mask, wearing it incorrectly (e.g., leaving nostrils uncovered), and using flimsy masks. It has been a long time since the pandemic began, and while the availability of high-quality masks has increased, many masks have become obsolete due to wear and tear or repeated washing. Masks, too, become dirty and must be replaced.”

3. Talking To People You Thought Are Vaccinated Freely

“Intimate encounters, dating, and partying with strangers while assuming everyone is vaccinated pose a significant risk,” says Dr. Khubchandani. “Many people do not exhibit any symptoms but may be infected. We must return to physical distance (rather than social isolation) and avoid boredom, which causes these impulsive desires to interact with others and let down our guard.”

Final Note…

Vaccination is key to staying safe in the presence of the covid-19 spread but please observe these new rules as we can still get infected after taking booster shoots.
