Multiple people have been allegedly shot at a high school graduation in Virginia with police warning the shooter is still active.

Local reports say that there are ‘at least four’ victims and ‘dozens of loud bangs’ were heard as authorities swarmed the Altria Theater in Richmond on Tuesday.

School board members remain in lockdown inside the theater as victims have reportedly been seen ‘taken out on stretchers,’ according to CBS 6.

Images and video from the scene show multiple law enforcement officers inside and outside the theater.

It’s believed ‘kids were taking graduation photos’ as the shooter opened fire.

This is a developing story.
