Dimension7yo, a 36-year-old Daytona Beach man, is accused in several YouTube rap-style videos of threatening to shoot up a school and his workplace.
Tron Welborn was arrested and booked into the Volusia County Jail on Monday. After seeing a video on YouTube of someone threatening a major school shooting in Spruce Creek, a woman called Port Orange police. Spruce Creek is the name of two Port Orange schools.
Daytona Beach police took over the investigation because the suspect lives there. He is also accused of making a second video in which he may have threatened violence at his workplace, the Trader Joe’s distribution center in Daytona Beach.
Welborn is accused of threatening to kill or injure others in writing.

Tron Welborn was arrested after allegedly making and posting several rap videos, one of which threatened to shoot up a Central Florida school.
WESH-TV, an NBC affiliate, has the story. Tron Welborn, 36, was arrested in Volusia County on Monday and charged with making written threats to kill or injure others.
According to the station, police in Port Orange received a phone call from a woman who said she saw a video on YouTube of someone threatening a “mass school shooting in Spruce Creek.”
Because Welborn lives in Daytona Beach, police were called to assist with the investigation and he was arrested.
In a second video, Welborn allegedly threatened to shoot up a Trader Joe’s distribution center in Daytona Beach, where he worked.

In the videos, the suspect, identified as Tron Welborn, made threats against Spruce Creek—unknown whether he’s referring to Spruce Creek Elementary or High School—and threatened to shoot up his place of work.
