In Alex’s interview with E! News, she reflected in a recent phone that her daughter, Ava, was running a high fever, and she was little.
The chef panicked and reacted, ” I was just standing in my apartment, and I’m like,’ Okay, so do I put her in the crib and leave her alone and get the medicine to help her fever? And risk leaving her alone?”
Further, she continued,” Or do I bundle her up and bring her out in the cold and risk making her even sicker to get the medicine for the fever? You know, like, ‘How do I. win here? How can I be a better parent?”
This was when Alex’s daughter was small as she mentioned ‘Crib.’ So this was about a long ago and isn’t a concerning matter as Ava is happy and healthy now.

Alex married Brandon Clark on April 29, 2007, and has a daughter, Ava Clark.
Brandon Clark and Alex met at New York’s Institute of Culinary Education in 2006 while Alex was teaching a fish class.
