Kerr has held the NBA record for the highest three-point percentage in a season (52.4%) until the record was finally broken by Kyle Elliot Korver, American former professional basketball, in 2010.
In 2004, Steve was appointed as a minority owner of the Phoenix Suns, part of the group led by Robert Sarver, an American businessman that purchased the team in 2004.

The coach asked Brown on his way to Chase Center ahead of Game 4 on May 9, stating to Brown that he was feeling sick and that he might have to step in. Just 30 minutes later, Steve was tested COVID-19 positive.
Before taking a test, Kerr admitted to experiencing minor symptoms. A few internal symptoms prompted him to take a test. Steve stated, “I sensed that if I passed this on to the team, I’ll never forgive myself.”Â

Kerr received his first head coaching job in May 2014 with Golden State Warriors. Under his leadership, the team entered the most successful period in its history while competing in five consecutive NBA Finals and winning three Championships in 2015, 2017, and 2018.
