Does Deborah James Have Colon Cancer Illness?

Yes, she does. Deborah James has been lauded as an “inspiration” after speaking out on Lorraine about her battle with terminal colon cancer.

After spending ‘approximately 80% of this year in hospital,’ the BBC podcast host, 40, stated on this morning’s show that she ‘doesn’t really know’ how she is alive and that her ‘body is fatigued.’

She spent a month in the Royal Marsden Hospital with sepsis, and the TV interview was taped there last month as part of ITV’s ‘No Butts’ campaign.

James, a mother of two, talked of how she felt ‘fragile’ after a horrific episode in January when she ‘thought she wouldn’t make it through the night’ due to a varicose vein hemorrhage.

‘Nobody knows how long she has left,’ Deborah James wrote in an earlier Instagram post, adding, ‘The message I never wanted to write.’ We’ve tried everything, but my body just won’t cooperate.

‘To be honest, I don’t know how I’m alive,’ she admitted. ‘This year has been absolutely insane. I’ve spent around 80% of this year in some manner in the hospital. I had a varicose bleed in January, which was a terrifying event. That was my conclusion.
