Hunter Biden‘s business partner Devon Archer told Tucker Carlson that it was impossible that Joe Biden would have zero knowledge of his son’s business dealings.

‘They have a great relationship, father and son. They speak everyday, and I witnessed that for 10 years,’ said Archer.

He emphasized that it’s ‘categorically false’ to say then-Vice President Joe Biden didn’t know about his son’s business deals at all.

Joe Biden ‘was aware of Hunter’s business, he met with Hunter’s business partners,’ Archer told Carlson during the second part of his tell-all interview released Friday.

The vice president wrote a letter that ‘illustrated he knew me,’ he continued. So it’s not ‘factually right’ to say Joe was unaware.

Archer shared a letter with Carlson that then-Vice President Joe Biden had written to him in 2011.

‘I apologize for not getting a chance to talk to you at the luncheon yesterday. I was having trouble getting away from hosting President Hu,’ Biden wrote referring to China’s then-president.

‘I hope I get a chance to see you again soon with Hunter. I hope you enjoyed the lunch. Thanks for coming,’ it read, followed up with a handwritten addition: ‘Happy you guys are together.’

Archer added that Joe may not have directly been looking at financial statements, but he was aware of his son’s dealings.

Hunter’s ex-partner said that he initially was working with Burisma to raise money for his real estate fund, but he was persuaded to join the energy company’s board by the then-president of Poland.

Carlson pressed Archer about whether Burisma saw adding him to the board as an opportunity to get Hunter or another ‘political power’ into their fold.

Archer said he brought Hunter onboard with Burisma initially as counsel.

‘I’m calling bulls**** on just this one thing,’ responded Carlson.

D.C. is ‘a city filled with law firms…a lot that deal with foreign transactions.’

And Hunter Biden didn’t have that experience at all, Carlson pointed out.

‘That’s an influence play,’ Carlson said, to which Archer agreed.

Carlson also grilled Archer about why Americans were interested in doing business in Ukraine in particular.

He responded that there were a ‘lot of Americans lobbying USAID, State Department officials – there were a lot of Americans.’

‘There is a lot of interest in Ukraine and who controls Ukraine,’ added Archer.

Hunter’s ex-best friend Archer also revealed new details about his personal and business relationship with the president’s son.

Archer addressed the toll that Hunter’s struggle with his crack cocaine and alcohol addiction took on their 10-year partnership.

For the initial part of their business partnership Hunter was ‘sober,’ he said. So his addiction struggle ‘wasn’t apart of our relationship.’

But things got hard for Hunter ‘mentally’ after the passing of his brother Beau in May 2015, creating ‘chaos’ that led to ‘less effective business decisions,’ said Archer.

Then Hunter went on a ‘downward spiral,’ continued his ex-business partner, although he said he made ‘many efforts to repair.’

Archer also said the release of Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop was ‘not great’ and contributed to the ‘nightmare’ that he’s been living for years since its publication.

‘That was a real bummer, I guess…It was an absolute shock that has perpetuated this kind of nightmare that I’ve been living.’

He said Hunter did not call him after emails on the laptop were publicized, even though Archer was included ‘extensively’ in the content.

‘It’s led to incessant and never-ending media fodder,’ he continued.

Archer also said he was ‘surprised’ that Hunter got into painting following his years of business ventures.

Carlson asked Archer if Hunter, over the 10 years they spent in business together, ever expressed any interest in painting.

‘No, not particularly,’ responded Archer, who said Hunter was a ‘well read student of history,’ so he may have been interested in artwork, but not painting himself.

He called Hunter’s new hobby a ‘reset,’ which was necessary after a ‘long-haul covered with tragedy and addiction.’

‘Going through that I think you need a reset,’ he continued.

He joked that he might also turn to painting after the ups and downs he and Hunter experienced while in business together.

Now, the president’s son is racking up hundreds of thousands of dollars for his amateur pieces.

In 2021, Hunter made his debut at a ritzy New York art gallery, where the sticker price clocked in on some of his amateur pieces at $500,000.

One single purchaser spent $875,000 on 11 of Hunter’s paintings – though the identity of that person is unclear.

It was recently revealed that Los Angeles-based real estate investor and Democratic donor Elizabeth Hirsch Naftali and Hollywood attorney Kevin Morris are two of the top purchasers of Hunter’s work.

Archer also emphasized to Carlson that it’s ‘categorically false’ to say then-Vice President Joe Biden didn’t know about his son’s business deals at all.

‘They have a great relationship, father and son. They speak everyday, and I witnessed that for 10 years,’ said Archer.

In the first part of the interview released Wednesday, one day after Archer testified behind closed-doors to the House Oversight Committee, he told Tucker Carlson that the ‘Biden brand’ was ‘absolutely’ a key component of Hunter’s work on the Burisma board.

Archer confirmed he had met the now-president ‘probably 20 times’ and again confirmed that Joe Biden had interacted with Hunter’s business partners around 20 times over the 10 years he was close with the family.

‘I can definitively say at particular dinners or meetings, he knew there were business associates,’ said Archer, who did not claim that Joe Biden had ever actually discussed the business dealings.

‘I don’t know if it was an orchestrated call in or not. It certainly was powerful, though, because, you know, if you’re sitting with a foreign businessperson and you hear the vice president’s voice, that’s prize enough,’ Archer went on.

‘Sometimes it was the call was coming in and the speaker would go on,’ Archer said, detailing the conversations. ‘You understand D.C. right? So the power to have that access in that conversation – it’s not in a scheduled conference call and that’s a part of your family. That’s like the pinnacle of power in D.C.’

Rep. Dan Goldman, N.Y., the only Democrat in the room for Archer’s testimony, did not deny Biden had been on business calls with his son but said it was moreso to exchange ‘niceties’ like talking about ‘the weather, “what’s going on?”‘

‘Remember, this is when Beau got ill,’ Goldman said, noting that Hunter and Joe spoke on the phone frequently before Beau – Joe Biden’s eldest son – died in 2015

Through the investment and policy advisory firm Archer and Hunter Biden led together – Rosemont Seneca – Hunter led on ‘government regulatory issues,’ said Archer.

‘Did Hunter have regulation expertise?’ asked Carlson.

‘I think he led a team that did,’ said Archer, noting that the work Hunter did was primarily knowing who to call.

Both Archer and Carlson acknowledged it was not new for the relatives of famous government officials to use their connections in business.

‘What we ran into was almost an Icarus issue,’ said Archer. ‘It was too close to the sun it was too good to be true. The connections were too close, the scrutiny too much.’

Archer and Hunter Biden were close friends at the time they were in business together.

Last week Hunter Biden’s plea deal for tax and gun crimes imploded when a judge informed him he could be charged in the future for further crimes – specifically mentioning failing to register as a foreign agent (a FARA violation).
