Marina Morgan, a 29-year-old newlywed, died in a golf buggy accident, according to Hamilton Island. They expressed their condolences to her family and friends and stated that they are assisting the police in their investigation.

Marina Morgan died on her honeymoon with her newlywed husband at Hamilton Island. She and Robbie Morgan tied the knot at Doltone House in Sydney 10 days ago.

They went on vacation after their wedding to celebrate their honeymoon in Queensland. But, their happy days broke down after the newlywed bride tragically lost her life in an accident.

The pair were driving along Whitsunday Boulevard in a buggy. She was in the passenger seat when the buggy’s battery died around 4.30 p.m. Her spouse tried a U-turn to return and charge the vehicle, but the vehicle tipped over.

Marina was not wearing a seatbelt then and fell onto the road. Bystanders quickly removed her from the buggy and attempted for 35 minutes to resuscitate her, but she tragically died at the scene.

As per Daily Mail, she was in cardiac arrest, and several first responders on the island attempted resuscitation for 35 minutes without success. They had even called a rescue helicopter in nearby Townsville to take her to the hospital, but it was stood down because of her severe injuries.

Marina Morgan Husband Robbie Morgan Is Safe

Marina Morgan’s husband, Robbie Morgan, was not injured and is safe. However, he lost his wife of ten days but has not commented or said anything in the media yet.

The incident is too shocking and heartbreaking. The family would require privacy at such times.

The police officers said that the accident seemed to result from inexperience in driving a golf buggy. He tried to turn it over suddenly, causing it to roll over.

There was no alcohol involved and no dangerous driving either or any kind of collision with other vehicles. Golf buggies are the most common mode of transportation on the vacation island. They can be rented for a modest charge with no prior experience required, but they all have seatbelts in-built for passengers’ safety.

Marina Morgan Accident Details

Marina Morgan was on her honeymoon with her husband Robbie when she died in a tragic accident. Mrs. Morgan was in the passenger seat of the vehicle.

The devastating incident occurred when her partner tried to U-turn the buggy at an intersection to take it back for the charging. According to the police, she had not worn a seat belt while traveling in the buggy.

Additionally, she fell on the road, which resulted in a life-taking injury while it flipped over. Although she died at the scene, bystanders tried to revive her for 35 minutes, but she could not survive the injuries.

Queensland police inspector Anthony Cowan stated the unfortunate event resulted from inexperience in driving such vehicles. Investigators revealed there was no trace of alcohol or reckless driving.
