John Madden is not dead but alive. Currently, he is 85 years old. In fact, Madden has devoted the majority of his life to the sport of football.

There has been no mention of Madden’s death on the internet. He’s still alive, so we can fairly presume he’s still alive.

Moving on, Madden is not only a fantastic football coach, but also a professional football player. In high school and college, he was a football player.

Similarly, he was a member of the Mustangs in the past. He graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree in education in 1959. He also has a master’s degree in education.

John Madden Illness & Health Update

A few years ago, John Madden underwent open-heart surgery. The surgery was successful and was performed to repair blockages.

Madden, too, has had problems with his hips, knees, and esophagus in the past. Due to his numerous health difficulties, he has even been admitted to the hospital.

Madden’s current life is unknown because he is not active on social media sites and avoids the limelight. We will, however, keep you informed.

Currently, John Madden resides in Pleasanton, California. Virginia, his wife, lives with him. Likewise, the pair has been married for almost 60 years.

Madden announced his retirement from broadcasting after the 2008 NFL season in order to spend more time with his family.

Madden has worked in a number of films in addition to his successful coaching career. Similarly, The Replacements, Shakespeare in Love, When the Game Stands Tall, and many others are among his works.
