Laurie David, the mother of Cazzie David is an American environmental activist, producer, and writer who has produced the Academy-winning documentary film named ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ which was released in 2006, and partnered with Katie Couric to executive produce an American documentary film named ‘Fed Up’ which was released in 2014, a film about the causes of obesity in the United States.
