Linda Frickey was a 73-year-old grandmother from New Orleans, LA.
Linda was killed by four teens in a carjack on 21st March 2022 at 1:30 pm. The shoot took place on North Scott Street in the 300 blocks.
The late-model Nissan Kicks owned by Frickey were found hours after he disappeared near North Dumaine and North Dupre streets.
Family members say 73-year-old Linda Frickey was leaving her office at a nearby insurance company when she was carjacked earlier this afternoon in Midcity. The officials after arriving at the scene and found Linda unresponsive on the ground. It was reported that the woman’s arm had been dismembered from her body.
The video of the fatal incident has become viral on Reddit and other social media platforms.
Linda Frickey Death Cause & Obituary
Four teenagers killed Linda Frickey. She was dragged from the car more than a block before the car dislodged the victim.
Furthermore, the neighbors were unsuccessful in stopping the car despite pleading for it. Linda was trying to take something out of her car when a group of teenagers kicked her out of the car. She got caught on the wheel well and happened to be dragged along the road.

One of the witnesses to the incident, Todd Ecker, told WDSU he tried to stop the teens from driving away. He said that he got out of his car and screamed at the teenagers that they were dragging someone.
The victim was then pronounced dead at the scene when emergency medical technicians arrived.
The old woman was preparing to leave Security Plan Insurance before she was attacked. Linda’s sister-in-law said that the former was coming out of her building to put something in her car when she became tangled in her seatbelt because she wasn’t given enough time to get out.

Linda Frickey’s family members are speaking out that Linda was an innocent victim who did not deserve what happened to her.
In her interview with WDSU, Kathy Richard said that anyone on the street would have received assistance from her.
As of now, the teenagers will be charged with second-degree murder, according to Superintendent Shaun Ferguson. The officials caught the suspects after releasing photos.

The suspects are a 17-year-old juvenile male, a 16-year-old female, and two 15-year-old females.
Orleans Parish District Attorney Jason Williams said that what happened to the 73-year-old Linda Frickey was heinous and unthinkable.
