Randy Lynn Elliott, the man sentenced to life in prison for raping and murdering his sister, is currently serving his sentence in Virginia’s Lunenburg Correctional Facility.

Several true stories are far more terrifying than some horror films. Randy Lynn Elliott was born on July 29, 1962, and is a convicted sex offender.

The 5 feet 11 inch criminal, weighing around 220 pounds, was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his own sister, Melissa Elliott.

Who Is Randy Lynn Elliott & Where Is He Now?

The mixed-race male, Randy Elliot, is known for the gruesome crime he committed on October 4, 1979.

Randy was a son from his mother’s previous relationship and was living with his new father and step-sister. Elliot was just five years old when his mother married another guy.

At seventeen, he murdered his step-sister Melissa Elliott after raping her. The crime was convicted on October 17, 1980, and he was subjected to life imprisonment in the Lunenburg correctional facility in Virginia.

The case was registered due to an out-of-state conviction attempted by Randy Lynn Elliot.

There are two buildings among which one was erected in the 1950s comprising brick, while the other was made in the early 1980s with logs.

The family had only recently moved into the brick rancher where the four of them were living. The secrets hidden within this property will still send shivers up your spine.

What Happened To Randy Lynn Elliott?

It was just an ordinary day on the morning of October 4, 1979, when the parents of Randy and Melissa left for work, leaving their two children to get ready for school.

Melissa was in the seventh grade, and her school was within walking distance from the house. After their parents left for their respective work, the ordinary morning turned into something so scary that people still are afraid to be near this house.

Randy raped his 12-year-old sister and then shot her twice in the chest. Afterward, he dumped her body in a huge box and tried to hide it behind the house before fleeing in a stolen car.

Two men collecting straw at the very place found the box containing the body of Melissa later that morning and opened it to see what was inside.

Immediately, the cops were called, and a search warrant for Randy was released.

According to W.E Mitchell, the Hanover County Sheriff’s department, “It appears Melissa was shot inside her single-story bungalow home and dragged 75-100 yards to the field where she was discovered.”
