Kevin Perez, 18, was arrested on Thursday and charged with the murder of Oscar Hernandez, 24, on December 16.
Hernandez was waiting for a haircut on Amsterdam Ave. at W. 151st St. Just before 10 a.m.
Perez passed by, opened the store door, and asked Hernandez what he was looking at, according to law enforcement sources at the time.
Hernandez then went outside to confront him, according to authorities. Perez began to walk away as the two clashed.
According to authorities, the juvenile pulled out a pistol and shot Hernandez in the neck and back.
Prior to his arrest, the NYPD’s official Twitter account posted a “WANTED” banner for the rapper, citing him as a suspect in the probable cause of arrest.

Kay Flock, actual name Kay Roy, is an 18-year-old rapper.
The teenage rapper has over 200K YouTube subscribers, but his Instagram account appears inactive. In addition to releasing solo material, Kay Flock is a member of the rap group Thraxxx.
