RHOC’s Sheena Lynch reveals her marriage to husband Shane ‘wasn’t working’

The newest housewife, 42, has opened up about the difficulties that the couple faced during the ‘tense’ UK coronavirus lockdown.

In an interview with The Sun on Wednesday, Sheena confessed that Shane moved out as the pressures of being cooped up together began to take its toll.

The beauty confessed that with Shane usually being away on tour, her ‘irriating’ habits and strict routine put pressure on the household.

She said: ‘I’m constantly clearing up and it drives Shane nuts. Before he’s finished with something, I’ve taken it away. I also talk to myself out loud, so Shane thinks I’m having a conversation with him.

‘Things were tense in the house and, after a while, it just wasn’t working.’

In April it was confirmed that Shane had moved out of the family home that they share with their two daughters, Billie 12 and Marley, eight.

Speaking on Paul Danan’s Morning After podcast, Shane admitted that: ‘It wasn’t a good time or a good space.’

Sheena persisted that the choice was a mutual decision that helped to save the couples marriage.

‘I think he was gone for about two months but we would still talk on FaceTime. He then started visiting and eventually I was like, ‘I don’t want you to go now”.

Fortunately, the couple managed to work through their differences and celebrated their 14 year anniversary in August.

The pair appear to have come back stronger than ever as Sheena admits that she loves her husband ‘to bits’.

She said: ‘He’s the best guy, the best dad and a beautiful man. I’m happy I can still see that.’

It was confirmed that Sheena was joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Cheshire last month.

The Boyzone singer will feature on the series from episode one as the show follows Sheena’s home and family life.

Debbie Davies, Hanna Kinsella, Lauren Simon, Lystra Adams, Nicole Sealey, Rachel Lugo, Seema Malhotra and Tanya Bardsley will all return for the brand new series.
