Errol Lindsey, Jeffrey Dahmer’s eleventh victim, is the sister of Rita Isbell. Errol, a 19-year-old, was the first victim on whom Jeffrey used his drilling technique, and he was subjected to horrendous torture at the hands of the serial killer. Jeffrey wanted to turn one of his victims into a mindless entity that would always remain in his control and have no free will, as most of his murders were committed out of a desire for total control. Drilling was a means to an end in that the ruthless murderer would bore a hole into the victim’s head before injecting water or hydrochloric acid, hoping to render them unconscious. On April 7, 1991, he attempted the procedure on Errol; however, the 19-year-old regained consciousness and complained of a headache. That is when Jeffrey began to give him a lot of sedatives before killing him by strangulation.
Surprisingly, the killer continued to flay Errol’s skin and even kept it on him for a few days. With the exception of the skull, which Jeffrey kept in his possession, the rest of Errol’s body had either been disintegrated in acid or ground into powder. Errol’s skull was discovered in the apartment when Jeffrey was finally taken into custody by the police on July 22, 1991, and the victim was recognized thanks to dental records. Errol’s loved ones were obviously devastated by the news, just like the families of the other victims, but they were determined to attend Jeffrey’s trial and support the conviction of the murderer. Similar to Rita Isbell, who adored and missed her brother dearly, she was wholly broken. In actuality, after Errol vanished, his family made every effort to find him, but to no avail. However, Rita charged toward the table where Jeffrey was seated with his attorneys and even lunged at him once her rage reached a boiling point before being restrained and led away by waiters.
