Who is Salvatore Ramos? The shooting at a Texas elementary school has once again terrified the country. Is gun violence out of control in America?
On Tuesday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott named the gunman in an elementary school shooting that killed at least 14 pupils and one teacher as Salvatore Ramos, an18 years old teenager.
The eighteen-year-old shooter killed his grandmother before going on to kill fourteen elementary school children and hospitalizing more than a dozen children. According to Abbott, the incident occurred at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Ramos’ hometown.
He is suspected of having abandoned his vehicle and entered the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde with a handgun and maybe a rifle. However, this has yet to be confirmed, according to Abbott’s last report.
Robb Elementary School has an enrollment of around 600 students, and the horrendous incident has put on a stain on the life and mentality of the students present during the mass shooting.

Who is Salvatore Ramos?
Salvatore Ramos was an eighteen-year-old teenager from Uvalde. It is located about eighty-five miles west of San Antonio. He was reportedly born on May 16, 2004.
Uvaldo police belives that Ramos acted alone in this horrific act. The police killed Ramos after he gunned down and killed fifteen people.
Ramos killed his sixty-six-year-old grandmother, and from there, he went to the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde and killed fourteen little children more than a dozen children have been hospitalized.
It is, however, unclear what his real motive behind the shooting is. We may know more as the investigation begins.
The students who attended those schools were third, fourth, and sixth graders. The killer targeted the minor children of the school.

The information on the Salvatore Ramos family hasn’t been disclosed yet. We assume the teenager was about to finish high school when he committed those horrific acts.
Salvatore Ramos had been posting pictures of guns and him holding guns on his Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Salvatore is also accused of killing his grandmother before killing all those fourteen students and one teacher in the Robb Elementary School.

According to Texas Governor George Abbott, Salvatore Ramos is said to have been shot and killed by the authorities moment after the shooting began.
The gunfire hit two other officers during the incident, but no severe injuries were found.
