Teenager Ethan Reyes Stabbed In NYC Subway – A 14-year-old boy was stabbed and killed inside a Manhattan subway station on Saturday afternoon, and a teenager was arrested and charged with his murder.
About the homicide of Ethan Reyes, a resident of Yonkers, the suspect, who is just 15 years old, was arrested early on Sunday morning and charged with murder in addition to criminal possession of a firearm.
According to the NYPD, there has been a 40 percent spike in transit crimes over the past year. Transit crimes have skyrocketed from 115 in June 2021 to 162 in June this year.

Ethan Reyes, 14, of Yonkers, has been identified as the victim of the tragic attack on Saturday.
Those who cared for him and his family expressed their condolences by leaving flowers and sympathy cards at his family’s home. Residents in the peaceful neighborhood told BS2 that the family had only recently moved there.
Just before 3 p.m., a stabbing happened on the northbound train platform at the 137th Street-City College station on Saturday.
According to the police, the assault on Saturday was not random & both the victim and his attacker were familiar with one another. At this moment, the authorities have ruled out the possibility of any further suspects.
What Happened To Him?
According to the authorities, officers were called to the 137th Street/City College subway station in Hamilton Heights at approximately three o’clock in the afternoon after receiving allegations of a crime occurring within the station.
Officers found Reyes suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen when they got to the site. They found Reyes sitting on the platform for the northbound train.
After being sent to Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital, it was discovered that Reyes had already departed tragically.
The identity of the suspect is still a secret. Police claim that the attack was not merely a random act of violence but had a clear goal.
Who Is The Stabber?
A young man has been charged with murder concerning the stabbing death of a 14-year-old child at a subway station in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood. The suspect, only 15 years old, is being held for questioning concerning homicide and criminal possession of a firearm.

A short time later, the police located the suspect, who has not been identified at this time, at the intersection of 173rd Street and Broadway and took him into arrest.
In addition to having a hip injury, they claim he was also bleeding from the back and the abdomen. He was jailed the following morning after receiving medical care at a nearby facility.
