At 1:43 a.m. on Sunday, May 1, Virginia State Police responded to a crash on northbound Interstate 395 about south of King Street in Alexandria.
On I-395 northbound, a 2010 Chevrolet Impala moved into the left lane and collided with the jersey wall. Tiffany C. Pittman, 30, of Stafford, was taken to George Washington Hospital and died as a result of her injuries.
She was not wearing a seatbelt, according to officials. The vehicle’s male passenger was not hurt.
