Married At First Sight’s Jules Robinson vows to lose 20kg after the weight ‘slowly crept back on’ following the birth of her son Ollie – as she shares exciting announcement

Married At First Sight star Jules Robinson has vowed to lose 20kgs after signing on as the new face of weight loss company Jenny Craig.

The 39-year-old made the exciting announcement on Sunday, explaining she had ‘put on 20kgs’ while was pregnant with her son Ollie, before losing nearly half of that after giving birth last October.

However, eight months postpartum, she revealed that ’10 kilos slowly crept back on’, until she returned to ‘the weight I was when I gave birth.’

‘To be honest, I had no intention of wanting to lose weight or focus on my health goals,’ she said.

‘It wasn’t until I was about seven months postpartum, I felt had the energy again for myself – my only focus had only been adjusting to motherhood and him.’

She went on to say she has been a ‘size 12 to an 18’ over the past two years, and has ‘nothing but appreciation for my body’.

But now little Ollie is almost one, she’s ready to focus on herself – and is working with the weight loss company to guide her.

‘Health is at the forefront of my mind,’ she added. ‘Feeling strong and ready to carry another baby takes precedence over all. I look forward to sharing my journey.’

Jules is already 11 weeks into her weight loss plan, and has already lost an incredible 11 kilos.

She says she lost ‘6.6 kilos’ in the first week, and says the plan ‘suits my juggling act of full time work running a biz and full time mummy duties.’

Jenny Craig’s plan offers users dietitian-designed meals and snacks, one on one consultations and a complete plan to ‘take the guesswork out of losing weight’.

Jules welcomed her first child, little Ollie, with her husband Cameron Merchant last year.

The pair officially married in January 2019, after meeting on the reality show Married At First Sight.
