The Conservative Party has announced that one of its MPs is under the custody(1) of Met Police. He is not welcomed in the parliament until the conclusion of the investigation.
As per British news outlets, the Conservative MP was arrested for indecent assault, s3xual assault, rape, abuse of a position of trust, and misconduct in a public office.

Just a few minutes after the news broke out, people started making guesses about the unnamed MP. It looks like social media has reached the conclusion that it is possibly the MP for Rayleigh and Wickford.
However, the official news outlet has not shared any name until now. The Metropolitan Police has been smart not to provide the name for the time being but the news will come out sooner or later.
As per the Met Police, the accused MP is currently under custody and an investigation has been going on.

As per Met Police, he has been charged with indecent assault, s3xual assault, rape, abuse of position of trust and misconduct in a public office.
