A spokesman for Oscar Mayer told FOX Business that the brand has converted six-vehicles and wants to see if it will ‘cut the mustard with its fans.’

It won’t be the only change, the company also announced that the drivers of the vehicles formerly known as ‘Hotdoggers’ will now go by ‘Frankfurters.’

Meanwhile, Weiner Whistles will now be called Frank Whistles, according to Kraft Heinz.

‘The Wienermobile is a beloved American icon that has been sparking smiles and driving craveability for our iconic delicious wieners for nearly 100 years,’ Stephanie Vance, an associate brand manager at Oscar Mayer, said in a statement.

‘This summer, it’s time to highlight another fan-favorite: our delicious 100 percent Beef Franks.

‘When Oscar Mayer makes anything, we prioritize taste over everything, so no matter what kind of hot dog you enjoy this summer, if it’s Oscar Mayer, you know it will be 100% tasty, and 100% make you smile.’

Some fans were concerned about the change one telling Channel 3000 that some things are ‘classic’ and shouldn’t be tampered with.

‘They got to put it back, yeah, some things are classic, and I think they should stay classic, that’s just my opinion,’ a man named Mario told the outlet.

Others welcomed the change.

‘I think in this world, change is good, I like Frank, Frank’s good,’ said one pro-Frankmobile woman.

Oscar Mayer joined the Kraft Foods family in 1989 from a merger with General Foods which is now defunct. Kraft Foods and H.J Heinz merged in 2015.
