On December 29, 2016, Fluitt’s bludgeoned body was located in his garage. He had had his neck cut. A neighborhood security camera recorded a man entering and leaving his garage on the night of Fluitt’s death. It was Terry Lee White, the ex-husband of Fluitt’s ex-wife Christine White.
Siena, the 11-year-old daughter of Fluitt and Fluitt, was the focus of a custody dispute between her parents. Fluitt and his ex-wife have a court date set for January to talk about modifications to child support obligations.
On the internet, there is no information indicating who is Siena Fluitt’s legal guardian. But given that Siena’s mother, Christine White, was accused of conspiring to murder Don Fluitt last year, it is logical to infer that Don Fluitt’s brother is in charge of her.
Terry White’s claim to his cellmate at the Metropoldue to Center that Christine White encouraged him to kill Fluitt led to Christine White’s capture.
Dateline “The Figure In The Garage” Murder Case
On December 29, 2016, at about 2:30, Don’s coworkers visited him at home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His daughter called one of her father’s coworkers since she couldn’t get through to him.
Don was lying on the ground inside the garage when they noticed that the entrance door was open. He was stabbed in the throat with a steak knife and strangled.
Security cameras were quite important in this scenario. Don’s neighbor across the street captured a portion of Don’s driveway on camera. The officials then examined the video taken on December 28, 2016, during the evening.

Don was tasked with leaving the daughter that evening with Christine, who had been wed to Terry White at the time. The video showed Don departing, and a hooded individual was later observed purposefully tossing the garbage can outside Don’s house.
When he finally arrived and attempted to retrieve the bin, the garage sensor was tripped by someone sneaking inside, as seen in the video. Authorities thought Don was killed inside the garage using a ruse put up by the murderer.
A few months later, Terry’s spouse was identified by DNA evidence found under Don’s fingernails. Additionally, he had a dubious alibi. Terry was subsequently detained at a truck checkpoint in Arizona.
Where Is Murderer Terry White Now?
The prisoner asserted that Terry told him Don was slain as a result of Christine’s request for him to “do this for your family.” When the same prisoner ran into Christine following his release, she hired him to smuggle Terry some medications in exchange for $200 and her wedding ring.
He reportedly had a plan with his wife to commit suicide when he was incarcerated. After receiving payment, the prisoner didn’t follow through with the plan, though. Terry was convicted of first-degree murder, aggravated burglary, and evidence tampering in June 2018.
He received a sentence of 30 years to life in jail with an extra 12 years in August of that same year. Terry, who was 51 at the time, adamantly defended himself in court,
According to prison records, he is still detained at the Lea County Correctional Facility in Hobbs, New Mexico.
