Jenny Traft’s husband Matt Gilroy is a professional ice hockey defenseman born in New York.
They were married in 2015 and expecting a baby this March.
Gilroy was born to Frank and Peggy Ann Gilroy in North Bellmore, New York. Matt Gilroy is the youngest of eight siblings.
His father, who the Philadelphia 76ers drafted, is a St. John’s Basketball Hall of Fame member.
He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Manhasset in 2003, where he led the hockey team to two state titles in New York.
