What Is Ghost BC Ritual Behind The Creepy Mask?
Tobias Forge, GHOST BC’s lead singer and founder who goes by the stage name Papa Emeritus, unmasked himself publicly for the first time since the band’s formation in 2017 for an appearance on P1’s daily one-man show “Sommar I P1,” which has aired every summer since 1959.
The outlandish on-stage presence of Ghost BC makes it easy to identify. The ‘Nameless Ghouls,’ seven of the group’s eight members, dress in nearly identical, face-covering costumes.
Impera, the band’s upcoming fifth studio album, is due out in 2022.

The Nameless Ghouls are Ghost’s members. They go by the moniker ‘Nameless Ghouls’ in order to remain anonymous.

Ghoulettes and Ghulehs are the names given to three female Ghouls. The Ghouls wear nearly identical face-mask outfits that change with each album period.
The frontman of the band, known as ‘Papa Emeritus,’ wears a prosthetic mask of skull face paint and appears to be a “demonic anti-Pope.”
Each record cycle has resulted in a change in the band’s appearance. Despite the fact that the vocalist is almost always depicted as the same iconic character, there are minor differences in appearance and even behavior from previous iterations.
