Prior to Renae’s death, she texted her mom, Teresa, and told her that she loved her.
Renae’s mother tried phoning her since she was anxious about her daughter, but she never answered. Teresa looked for her daughter as well, but she couldn’t find her. The police were told that Renae was missing after their unsuccessful search for her.
Renae’s automobile was discovered the same night in The Gap, a bluff overlooking the ocean. Teresa found Renae’s shoe, but she was nowhere to be seen. Renae was seen plunging from the edge and disappeared on CCTV footage. Furthermore, her body was never discovered.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the case.
