Michelle Knight was Castro’s most despised prisoner because she refused to acknowledge him by his given name and frequently spoke back to him. According to Wikipedia, she was subjected to the most brutal abuse but did not break.

Michelle became pregnant on multiple occasions, but Castro mistreated her until she miscarried. Knight weighed 38 kilograms when she was apprehended by authorities in early May 2013.

Initially, authorities mistook her for a kid rather than a fully grown adult. Doctors concluded that if the police had arrived two days later, she would have perished.
