According to the Daily Mail, he had a cyst on his brain in 1998 and later developed glaucoma, an eye condition that can lead to blindness.

His cancer battle was as tough as an old boot. Hairy Bikers’ chef, Si King, has given updates on Dave Myers’s cancer battle to Independent.
