Katie Summerhayes was born on October 8, 1995, in Sheffield, England, to her parents. She hasn’t shared many details about her parents, so it’s difficult to dig into them.

Katie’s parents encouraged her to pursue her dream of becoming a freestyle skier. She has achieved this level of success solely because of her parents’ and family’s encouragement and support.

Katie won her first World Cup medal at the age of 19 when she finished second in the Slopestyle competition in 2013 and became the first British female skier to do so.
