She’s doing fantastic! On the Today show on Thursday, Sept. 6, Kathie spoke out about being body-shamed online, saying she’s tired of people telling her she’s “too skinny” because, at 65, she’s never been healthier or happier.

She told her co-host, Hoda Kotb, that “so many people had written to me and said, ‘you’re so skinny now.” “I’m going to say it out loud. I’m overjoyed to be this fit, healthy, happy, and hopeful; sue me!”

As much as the world is concerned about Kathie Lee Gifford’s weight loss journey, she is unconcerned about what people think of her appearance.

The 65-year-old broadcaster claims her recent weight loss is due to her role in the upcoming film “Love Me to Death.”

After receiving messages from viewers who believe she is too thin, the Today cohost decided to speak out on Thursday. Gifford, whose beloved husband Frank Gifford died in August 2015, explained that her smaller frame is due to work on a new film.

She also brought up the double standard for actresses who change their bodies for a role.

“I’m going to put it out there,” she said. “I am overjoyed to be so fit, healthy, happy, and hopeful. Please sue me!”

Kathie Lee went on to say that, contrary to popular belief, her health has never been better.

She concluded by sending a reassuring message to those who will continue to criticize her body.

Last year, fans began to notice that Gifford was losing weight – a lot of weight, as seen through her before and after photos. Many people expressed concern that the television personality was becoming too thin. Gifford felt compelled to respond.

The first thing she does is take Bambino (Gifford’s dog) downstairs and turn on the coffee maker. Moving on, she does not like breakfast because she gets up and drives to her workplace.

Likewise, she usually does not eat breakfast until she gets to her workstation at 7:30 a.m. It’s usually Quaker Oatmeal with a tablespoon of peanut butter.

It’s not the healthiest option, but it works for her.

Kathie Lee Gifford talked about her diet and workout plan revealing that the physical changes were caused by a film role she was playing.

She did a major motion picture about a woman who’s recently widowed. For the role-play, Kathie started working out for that movie last fall, knowing we’d shoot it in the spring.

Gifford’s friends Kotb and Hager couldn’t help but notice her muscles when she visited them. When Gifford explained her workout plan, she said she received a number of criticisms.

Even though she was doing it for a film, everyone was making a big deal about how skinny she got.

Following that, she revealed her secret regiment, Manduu. When she moved to Nashville, Tennessee, she began working out. Gifford even flaunted her chiseled biceps in front of her friends. She is pleased with her efforts!
